Where Can I Find my Income Statement or Statement of Operations?

The Profit and Loss report can also be called an Income Statement or Statement of Operations. These are all names for the exact same report. The purpose of these reports is to show whether the company made or lost money during the period being reported. (Source: Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Income_statement)

To access the report, click Reports on the left and select Profit and Loss. Select the date range for your report and click Run Report.

If you have our Plus version, you can even change the name of this report to print out as Income Statement or however you wish to title it:

1. Click Reports on the left.
2. Open the Profit and Loss report.
3. In the top left-hand corner, click the Customize button.
4. On the side menu, select Header/Footer.
5. Under Show in header, type in the name you want (Income statement/Statement of Operations) in the Report Title field.
6. Click Run Report.
7. If you want to save the report, click the Save Customizations button.
