France - Adding a logo to sales invoices

Before you upload your logo, you should ensure it meets the logo requirements to avoid display issues.

To include your logo on your sales forms, it must:
 

  • Have a file name that ends with .gif, .bmp, .jpg, .jpe or .jpeg
  • Be smaller than 1 MB in size.
  • Have a bit depth, sometimes called color depth, of 24-bits or less.
  • Use the standard RGB color space; sRGB. 

For best results, your logo should:
  • Have a white background
  • Be shaped more like a square than a rectangle 

The logo will display in a 1x1 inch space to the left of the company address. Every effort is made to fit the logo in this space while preserving the aspect ratio. If you need help understanding the requirements, please contact the person who created it for you. Or, simply try using your logo to see if it works. 
If you're having trouble with the color depth and the logo not looking right, try changing it from a .jpg to a .gif (make sure you save it AS a .gif so you don't overwrite the original file).  Your original logo artist should be able to help as well; just tell them the requirements listed above and have them send you a different file that will work.

Adding your logo

1.    Click on the Gear icon, and under settings choose Custom Form Styles. (Alternately, Gear Icon > Company Settings > Sales > Customize > Customize look and feel

2.    In the Custom Form Styles window, choose Edit.
3.    In the Select style window you will see a Logo section to the right-hand side of the page.
4.    Click on the logo + sign and select upload. Choose the file you would like to upload.

Your logo should now display on all sales forms and invoices.
